Located in the Mary Potter Pavilion, Evergreen Behavioral Health offers structured outpatient programming designed for individuals who may not require inpatient hospitalization but can benefit from additional mental health or substance use support.
Supporting the Next Step in Care
Behavioral health treatment does not always end when someone leaves an inpatient setting. For many individuals, having continued structure, therapy, medication management, and support can be an important part of maintaining progress and working toward long-term wellness.
Evergreen Behavioral Health helps provide that next level of support through Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) for adults 18 and older.
Programs are available for individuals seeking support for:
- Mental health concerns
- Substance use
- Co-occurring mental health and substance use needs
- Continued support following inpatient treatment
- Individuals who may benefit from structured outpatient care
Programming incorporates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychoeducation, group support, and medication management.
First Responders Program
Evergreen Behavioral Health also offers a First Responders Program designed to support the unique behavioral health needs of those who serve and protect our communities.
First responders can experience stressors that are different from those encountered in many other professions. Repeated exposure to emergencies, traumatic events, high-pressure situations, and the responsibility of caring for others can have an impact on mental and emotional well-being.
Evergreen’s First Responders Program provides a supportive environment where individuals can address concerns related to stress, trauma, mental health, substance use, and overall emotional wellness.
The program is available as a resource for first responders who may benefit from additional behavioral health support while continuing to work toward stability, wellness, and recovery.

Chicago Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient psychiatric stabilization, substance use treatment, detoxification services, dual diagnosis treatment, and additional behavioral health services for adults.
Evergreen Behavioral Health can provide a structured outpatient option for individuals who are transitioning from a higher level of care or who may benefit from treatment while continuing to live within the community.
Together, these services help create additional options for individuals at different stages of their behavioral health journey.
PHP and IOP Options
Evergreen Behavioral Health offers both PHP and IOP programming, allowing treatment recommendations to be based on each individual’s needs.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
These structured programs provide individuals with ongoing therapeutic support while helping them continue working toward their treatment and recovery goals.

Evergreen Behavioral Health works with hospitals, nursing facilities, healthcare providers, social workers, case managers, community organizations, first responder agencies, and other referral partners to help adults access appropriate outpatient behavioral health services.
