“I know when I go home I’ll be ok because my therapist took extra time and made sure I had all of my appointments. And if a few years from now I’m not doing well I’m going to walk myself right back to this hospital because of how much you all have helped me.”

“CBH was an amazing hospital for me. They helped me get through things I needed to and they have excellent staff on the women’s unit. I would like to say thank you to all who helped me get through my tough times and being so nice and supportive.
Thank you to my therapist and all staff at CBH. You all taught me something new each day. This has been a life changing, positive experience- thank you!”

“”I just got done with the 10 day stay Chicago behavioral hospital. At first it was so hard. I’m trying to say what I mean and take a deep hard look at myself to change things that need to be changed. Through the staff’s help along with the doctors I am going to try my best to do what is needed. I know it’s going to be a long, hard road because I have hurt and disappointed so many people by my reactions and actions, but I want to try to make this up to them because they deserve better.
I would love to give a big thank you to all the staff in the monarch unit. They made me laugh and not only helped me through this ordeal it, made me feel needed and wanted; that was one of the best feelings in the world. As far as the nursing staff, I can only say kudos and thank you to each and every one of you. The kitchen staff’s culinary creations are just beyond belief. You can tell that they put their hearts into what they make and to make sure that that the patients enjoy scarfing down every bite.”
